Originally from New Zealand, I am a practising artist living and working in the New England region.

I paint primarily still life, with a particular focus on food and the things we treasure. I’m drawn to the colour, texture and sensuality of everyday ingredients, as well as the memories and stories that surround them.

Through my paintings, I hope to capture something of the pleasure and nostalgia associated with food — the meals we remember, the things we make for people we love, and the simple joy of sharing a table.

I enjoy taking familiar foods and objects and presenting them in a bold, contemporary way. For me, painting is a way of slowing down and seeing these everyday things, and the connection, memory, celebration and joy they can hold.
